Got home at 3am last night from New Hampshire. Slept in and didn't get a morning run. Ran at 7:30 tonight and it was about 105 F when we started. Got 11 miles in with 5X90 second hill repeats. Big hills feel so small to me now after all this mountain running training and what I raced this last weekend. I feel really strong and excited to get this training started for Worlds in September.

Qualifird for Team USA today and will be heading to Bulgaria on September 11. My first mountain running race. I loved it, but was one of the hardest races I have ever done. The pain could definitely be felt, especially on Upper Walking Boss. Well organized and excited to represent the US and get that kit! Made some good money and had a great time in New Hampshire. Joe Gray- 1st, Brett Hales- 2nd, Matt Daniels- 3rd, Me- 4th, David Fuentes -5th, Andy Wacker -6th. That's the team and we are good, most competitive championship ever. I will be doing trails for a long time!

(Splits 1-5:10, 2-5:31, 3-6:07, 4-6:02 (Started the heavy climbing, over 30%), 5-7:00, 6-7:03, 7-12:15

(Not sure if these are totally accurate near the end)
